Search for commentary online. It seems to be also prophesying the end times stuff - most probably the tribulation times. Wah, the male population has a sharp decline due to war and women becomes desperate for a male to marry to for "status". [A woman's sense of worth is linked to marriage, home, and family more so than is a man's. - quoted] I don't know whether to say how "fortunate" male was at that time or how "frightening" male was when so many were prophesied to die in wars. I can't help but picture the terrible scenes of war during the tribulation periods and picture the desperateness the women at that time now.
